Save your favourite filters as a watchlist — country, time control, prize. The moment a new tournament matching them is announced, Chess Route pings you, before you'd ever have found it on a federation page.
We'll ping you when a new tournament matches.
Save the tournaments you're considering, mark the ones you've entered, and see the whole season in one list — dates, rounds, and status at a glance, so a clash shows up before you book, not after.

Tournament travel adds up. Post a listing for an event you've saved, and split the room with another player going to the same one — matched on dates and budget.

Log flights, hotel, and entry fee per tournament — in any currency. Prize winnings are tracked separately from spending, so you always know whether the event paid for itself.

Log each game right after the round, before the scoresheet gets folded into a backpack. Save it to your library, annotate it, and export standard PGN to study in the engine of your choice. Link your FIDE ID to watch your rating history climb.
A flier doesn't tell you about the cramped venue or the late prize payout. Players who've been will. Scores are Bayesian-weighted so one angry review can't tank a venue, and recurring events carry their reputation from edition to edition.

Smooth pairings, fair arbiters, and the playing hall was quiet. Would absolutely return next year.
Strong field, well-organized. Hall was a touch warm in the afternoon rounds.
Excellent venue, friendly staff, prizes paid same day. Recommended.

Chess Route is a mobile app for tournament chess players. It finds chess tournaments near you — or anywhere you want to play — and handles the trip around them: registration deadlines, roommate matching to split hotel costs, expense tracking with prize winnings, a game library, and venue reviews from players who were there.
Chess Route aggregates tournament listings from chess federations and organizers worldwide — dates, venue, sections, entry fees, prize funds, and organizer contacts — and lets you search and filter by location, date, time control, and prize.
Browsing tournaments that start within the next 7 days is free. Chess Route Pro unlocks planning months ahead, plus roommate matching, the game library, and expense tracking — for €10 or $10 a year (₹250 in India) — about the price of a single café visit.
Yes. Post that you're looking to share a room for a tournament, and other registered players can send you a request. Once you accept, contact details are exchanged and you sort out the booking together — typically cutting the hotel bill in half.
Review scores use Bayesian weighting, so a venue's rating can't be tanked by a single angry review or inflated by one glowing one. Recurring tournaments carry their reputation from edition to edition, so you can see an event's track record before you book.
Chess Route launches on iOS and Android in 2026. Join the waitlist above and we'll send you one message the day it goes live — nothing else.
